<p><strong>Photo New Years Eve 2009</strong><br />Retired and living in sunny Sussex. Spending lots of time going up an  <br />old farm house, although Wendy would like to move to a nice apartment  <br />by the sea. Enjoy seeing our old friends at the reunion each year and  <br />keeping in touch mostly by email.<br />Always like to hear from old Bcal mates.</p>

<p>Living in West Sussex. I am an Art Therapist to people with Special Needs and Alzheimer s. I have been married to my wife Martha for 38 years and have two sons a daugher-in-law and beautiful granddaughter.</p>

03 Tom Boyle
<p>I now live in lovely North Devon and enjoy flying my Piper L4 Cub G-LIVH around the beautiful countryside.  Still in touch with a few colleagues who come and stay.  Evenings are spent playing the keyboard, dancing Le Roc or Zumba or singing in an  Acapello choir.</p> <p>The <strong>calendar picture</strong> was taken 2007 for the 2008 Calendar for our village of Dolton in aid of the restoration work on the village hall .  We actually made £3700 . Just a group of oldies got together. my picture was taken with a friends aircraft which is the same type as my GLIVH .<br />I was interview on radio at midnight  about how much we made on the calendar.  I said If I had know how much I could have made taking my clothes off I would have started 20 years ago. Ha Ha</p>

<p>I have been living in Barbados for 22 years now and work in sales for a publishing company. I get to travel a fair bit around the Caribbean with my job which is nice and have been to lots of the islands. I am still in touch with some of my old BCal colleagues which is lovely!</p>

<p><strong>Bob Young,</strong> ex-DC10 &amp;<strong> Louise Young</strong> (nee Gemmell Ab-initio 5 1984)<br /> <br />We met again in 1996 by chance after 10 years of living different lives, in different countries &amp; married to the wrong people!<br /> <br />I was flying for Qantas having moved to <strong>Oz in Dec 87</strong>.  I was devasted by the BA takeover &amp; didn t wait around.  During a SYD-LHR stop-over in late 96 we met up through a mutual aquaintance &amp; have been together ever since.  For the next 2 years it was long-distance - we had our own personal JSA going on with BA/QF until I moved to Europe to enjoy Bob s last 2 years with BA.  We got married in Feb 2000 in Sydney while Bob was on back-to-backs!   After BA, Bob did 3 years with Asiana Airlines of Korea &amp; we lived in Southern Spain.  When Bob finally hung up his hat we retired back to Sydney in May 2004 and spent 4 years living on Sydney s northern beaches.<br /> <br />In August this year we moved to our new home in Jindabyne, in the Snowy Mountains of Australia. With 2.5 acres we garden, grow veggies, farm 30 fruit trees &amp; ski for 3 months of our winter 30 mins away at Thredbo &amp; Perisher.  Bob even does the odd bit of flying with the local flying club!<br /> <br />We usually make it up to the UK every year but unfortunately our trip never co-incides with the September reunion.<br /> <br />We re 2 hours drive from Canberra &amp; 6 hours from Sydney &amp; a warm welcome awaits anyone who makes it here.</p>

<p>These days I, most of all, enjoy my time as a retiree.  I go away most weekends, mainly to my 2nd home on the montains not too far from Rio; about 1hr 45 mins drive; an area called Teresopolis, in the State of <strong>Rio de Janeiro.<br /></strong> <br />I go to the gym to keep the health in shape, sometimes go to the beach (<strong>Copacabana Beach</strong>) which is walking distance from my flat.<br /> <br />I still live in the same flat where many crew members have been to.<br /> <br />Funny enough,  although I am retired and should have plenty of time, I seem to be quite busy, with a good social life. Once a month I go to a reunion lunch with basketball friends from my young days when I used to play (before BCAL days). I have also been having reunions with school colleagues. I suppose we are now at an age when reunions happen all the time!<br /> <br />I don t have family but luckily I have plenty of good friends.<br /> <br />And of course, at the age of nearly 63 (in February), there are visits to all sort of different doctors!!!!! But generally speaking I am in good health.</p>

<p><strong>Roger Humphery</strong>.<br />I finally called it a day and took early retirement/severance in Dec 09, after 26 years.  I wanted to dedicate more time to my 2 grandchildren [my eldest is pictured].  I recently re-sat my domestic gas exams and work 3/4 days per week in the domestic gas industry.</p>

<p><strong>Derek Jenkins</strong> <br />Now retired, Ann and I have been married for fifty one years. We have three children, five grand children and two great grand children.<br />We keep busy with the usual gardening, researching our family histories etc. Most of our holidays are spent visiting areas of the country where our ancestors lived. As a member of the All Wheel Drive Club, Britains biggest and best Cross Country Vehicles Association, I have for twenty one years been a member of the Annual London to Brighton Veteran Car Run Organising Committee.</p>

<p><span style="\"><span style="\"><strong> Lynn Spicer</strong> nee<strong> Beach </strong> <strong> Jan 1972     /    Feb 1973</strong></span></span></p> <p><span style="\">Photo taken in <strong>2001</strong> with her son aged 18</span></p> <p><span style="\">I joined in <strong>January 1972</strong> and left in <strong>February 1973</strong> flew on the<strong> VC-10 and 1-11 fleet</strong>. I loved the whole experience with B-Cal but by <strong>Dec 1972</strong> I was engaged, planning to get married and carry on flying which was impossible with B-Cal but BOAC, luckily, was more understanding!
