So proud to wear the tartan, 3 Years ago
Clare MacBain-Williams I think it was because we were so proud to wear the tartan,it was no trouble to go the extra mile. I agree with you re staff Derek, I once brought a staff pax to stay at our house, when he failed to get on the full DXB flt one night, and had nowhere to stay. Also saw another ground staff girl take home a mother with very young twins after a flt cancellation..BCal offered her a hotel, but she just didn't have all the baby "kit" she needed, whereas my colleague had young ones of her own so was well equipped..another colleague of mine lent a pax his own golf clubs as he was over here for a golfing hol and we had inadvertently left them behind in the US . Same chap also organised a golf day for some pax whose flt had been canx,so they had lost a day of their golfing hol...he called his own local golf club and organised a temp membership for half a dozen blokes, called MT and got a minbus to take them to said club, and even managed to blag a lunch for them!
