Derek A Jenkins I have my own batch of BCAL items, most of which I have emailed to Tom and are on display on the BCALREUNITED web site. After the BA take over and I was now working in the BA Fraud Prevention and Investigations Unit, it was my sad task to have to work with a BA Property Services Manager to close down Caledonian House and to arrange for the complete clearing and disposal of everything in the building. BA were quite ruthless and demanded that all items bearing BCAL identity were disposed of. I told this BA Manager that Lord King must have an enormous inferority complex as he wished to totally obliterate the best airline there ever was - BCAL. In the boardroom were a lot of items which had, over the years, been presented to Sir Adam and BCAL. Tony Cocklin, ex BCAL Publicity Manager, was by this time working in the same role at BA. I arranged for all this memorabelia to be sent to him at LHR for eventual inclusion in the BA Museum. I wish now that I had held on to it somehow as it would mean more to us than it probably does to BA.
